As a Principal at O’Brien’s since 2002 Chris is highly committed to delivering successful outcomes for his clients.

Chris heads up the Business Services and Tax Advisory division of the firm and plays a lead role in providing independent advice to business owners on a variety of strategic and operational issues.

Chris has assisted a number of clients in the implementation of cloud-based systems that integrate with their accounting software. These systems provide intelligence and efficiencies around job costing, job reporting, cashflow management and KPI trends & analysis. Chris also works closely with business owners to develop procedures for maintaining accurate and timely financial reports that assist them in making informed and reliable business decisions.

In addition to business and tax advisory Chris has assisted clients with corporate restructuring, debt restructure, succession and retirement planning.

Chris undertakes regular technical training and keeps up-to-date with changes in taxation law to ensure clients are kept fully informed of changes that may impact their business.

Chris is a member of CPA Australia and a Registered Tax Agent. He is a keen sports follower and enjoys family activities.
